Information Science and Engineering
The department of Information Technology was started in the year 1997 -1998 and has been offering B.Tech degree programme. From the year 2007- 2008 the department has been offering M.Tech and Ph.D programmes. Courses are taught by experienced and highly qualified faculty using a hands-on, reality-based approach to education in which students apply what they learn in class to solve real-life problems.

The faculty are specialized in various thrust areas of Information Technology like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IOT, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing and Mobile Computing. The programmes are designed to broaden and deepen students’ knowledge of new and emerging technologies and the application and integration of these technologies. Our B.Tech degree programme trains students to leverage insights from data and information technology to solve problems. Our curriculum provides the tools necessary to study, manage, and innovate the information systems around us. The Department of information Technology is fully equipped with the state of the art laboratories having the latest HP Servers and Nodes.
